a scrappy weekend

After a month of busyness I took some time this weekend and got a few layouts done. My darling sis-in-law invited me out to Archivers for some tangential, paper-using scrapbooking. So different - yet a LOT of fun and it left me feeling inspired to work on some digital layouts again.

I thought it was especially fun to do two completely different layouts of the same picture and the kids loved me reading the story back to them when I finished.

I love your scrapbook page! You did a great job! I'm always so impressed at paper usage because I'm such a "it must match" freak that if they don't have the same colors, I don't use them. But this is EXACTLY why I need to ditch that habit because I love the patterns and colors you used! Love it, love it, love it! And the digital page is sweet too! Very childrens-book-like :)
