Today we had a fun morning of assembling our school supplies and getting everything in order. Now for the rest of the weekend, I can nurse my blister on my finger from sharpening pencils! Ha!
pencils! gaul, i don't know if this is weird or not, but i barely even think about pencils anymore. it's totally something i associate with grade school. sigh. i can smell the shavings now.
Oh man, I remember those days! They were sooo excited! I second Angie, I don't remember pencils either. I have one on my desk, but it's a mechanical one. I really can't recall the last time I used an actual pencil.
As much as I hated back-to-school time as a kid, I look back at it now with fond memories. I just wish I had someone I could buy all the paper and fun pens and pencils for. Man, I loved getting all those new supplies! I have a hard time passing the displays when I'm at the store and not checking out the deals.
