light painting with Tyger

MY PERSPECTIVE: It's 11 p.m. and we're hanging out. Not that we don't have to get up early tomorrow - we do. But, we sure are enjoying the moment - and playing together!

TYGER'S TAKE: We weren't really playing, we were experimenting with a camera and a flashlight. We took these "light painting" pictures.

p.s. sorry for the lame-o picture of me. I guess I forgot to smile - believe me though - we were laughing our bums off all night :)

oh my gosh we had so much fun!

The trick
*be in a completely dark room with a nice bright flashlight or laser pointer thingy...
*camera on bulb mode (keeps the shutter open until you turn it off or an uber long shutter speed with a real fast hand)
*get your subject set up and in focus and fire the camera (it can't see anything yet cause it's dark)
*get your butt over to your subject and start painting.
*if you aim the light at the camera lens you'll see the actual light streaks - like the letters
*if you aim the light at the person, you'll see the parts of the person you "paint"

hope this helps!
