They're playing a lovely little song. But they keep interrupting it.
every.
five.
seconds.
They want me to know I can still leave a message for the ordering department.
I'm sure this is "a feature, not a bug" kind of thing; and that once upon a time someone was very glad for all of those messaging opportunities.
But geeze people. Listening to 3 bars of music, followed immediately by a full minute of how to leave a message is a little over the top, if you ask me.
Oh wait... you didn't ask?
Ha ha! Silly me :)

ugh, i HATE hold features! and i am sorry to admit that i just set one of these annoying things up for the bosslady. it's awful. i hope you never call here and get put on hold for more than a second.
Ah yeah, but I must say it's nice to have something in the background. I hate the ones that are dead air... I sit there wondering, wondering, wondering if I've been disconnected.
UGH! I know, I would never leave a message on one of those because are they ever really checked!? Thank goodness for speaker-phone.
I hate those messages! No, I am not going to leave a message because I know that they will NEVER call me back! And it messes me up because with all the kids' noise in the background, every time the voice comes on telling me I can still leave a message, I think I'm supposed to get ready to talk to somebody and start to dash for a quiet spot. Then I realize that I don't really have one. LOL!
I only disklike hold music, when it's music I've never heard of NOR would I tune into it, in my own car. I believe the one time I heard the symphony playing was in the sixth grade on a fieldtrip to Orchestra Hall.
That was enough.
