we've come a long way, baby

My baby turned 3 today. I'm not sure how these years went so fast; I only know they did. It seemed like yesterday that I was still pregnant, Cowboy and PrincessGirl not even two, Tyger a little third grader, and hearing that I was ready to start the every-other-week appointments. It was when it hit me how soon she would be coming. I cried. In the clinic. In front of my doctor. I was not ready for this baby. I was so overwhelmed.

I had no idea the blessings that God had in store for me that day, that God had someone so incredible in mind. She has been a gift to our family, making us all chuckle with her antics, we all swell with pride when she figures out something new, so many little things. She is truly the baby of the family and we love her for that. Happy third birthday my little Lollipop. I love you so much!

To follow Angie's comment:
I love her too and how sweetly she says "lyssypoo" - even if she always sits on me when I visit and then farts.
