A very dear friend of mine was driving to work this morning in the midst of the bank robber driving incident. I was very worried after hearing this but he was able to email me a few minutes ago to let me know:
"I'm okay. 2 bullets went through my car. They took my care in as evidence. Went through my kids car seat. "
I'm grateful no one was seriously injured but shaken with the reminder that anything could happen at any time.

Oh For Crap! My goodness! You just NEVER know what's going to happen! I try to remember this all the time (especially when I drive). You hear about such weird things happening in the blink of an eye! Tire blows off, hits your car. Driver suddently swirves your direction. Semi tips over. ugh! Always ALWAYS tell people you love them!
So terrible, but I'm very glad your friend is okay. This morning I was watching the news and heard about a highway shooting in Virginia. Someone was just sitting on the highway and shooting at cars as they drove by. Thankfully there were no deaths, just injuries. I will never understand instances like this.
