Happy birthday my dear Tyger! I cannot believe how quickly the last 12 years have gone. 12! How can it be so? We had so much fun celebrating your birthday this year. What can be better than a birthday-present hiding/finding (so much more fun than just unwrapping, wasn't it???) A surprise lunch with your Grandpa L. & Grandma Shirley made waiting for your evening party go a lot easier :) The pizza party with Gran, Papa, M&Jfamily, and DAng was a delish hit. I love how much they love you - it's heartwarming to see the fan-club come out!

Then, for the first time, I let you have a "friends" party. Watching you guys sword-fight and spray each other down with silly string was one of the best highlights of the day. What wonderful friends you have.

And who can forget yesterday's fishing expedition??? Everyone in a great mood (ha! or not), in a tippier boat than your little sibs are used to, pop spilling, a flat tire for Grandma, Grandpa, and AuntieJess, and then the rain started. A fine cool mist at first. Drenching drops by the end. Our fish-fry turned into an evening at Appleebees where you had your favorite Cowboy burger and a birthday sundae to cool down your red cheeks after the staff sang to you...

Ah yes. A good birthday weekend. A darn-good birthday weekend :) Love you, Tyger. We are so blessed by you!
