clickity-clack

I think I've mentioned in a previous blog about setting up the new PC here. I have a huge complaint that I need to vent. What is with modern keyboards?????? Why do they all have to have these uber-flat keys that barely move when you press on them? I miss the density of the old ones where you can put some pressure behind them. Where there's substance to make it feel like you're actually typing something. Where you can hear the clickity-clack of the letters being put to paper (yeah, yeah - I know).

Are there people out there who actually prefer this kind of keyboard? The flat, laptop-like ones? I pulled out my 10-year-old keyboard and I think I'll be replacing my new one with that. Good grief.

EDIT: Never mind. Cowboy just broke the cord on my 10-year-old keyboard. Go figure.

LOL! And if he broke it, it's a sign that you SHOULD learn to like the new style.... er' something. I don't like laptop keyboards at all! The Backspace key and I, R--E--A--L--L--Y get to know each other on laptops...

That's really funny....you know I work with a group that are very passionate about their keyboards...there are 4 people here that have keyboards that are almost 10 years old now...they don't even have the letters on them anymore...and when I threaten them that I am going to replace them they almost cry....which is why they still have them....and they are the ones that clickity clack!!! Should've told me this earlier this year as I donated like 25 of those to goodwill a few months back!
