on the road again
I was driving away from the gas station today and noticed a youngish guy carrying his dinner back to his rig (it's a truckstop/gas station/McDonalds). He was carrying a regular bag and also a Happy Meal. Not too often you see a 30-something guy carrying a happy meal so I started to wonder to myself... does he bring a kid with him out on the road? How cool would that be. I wanna be a kid out on the road with my Pa. Seeing the world. Or at least seeing the country. Yeah. That'd be cool.

awww, cute! i do wonder! i've asked dad to take me on the road with him like 700 times. apparently big brown isn't down with take-your-child-to-work-day.
Katy used to go over the road with her dad when she was younger. He's still a semi-trucker and now his wife tags along sometimes. But Katy has some great memories from the truck-driving adventures and I might add, learned a WHOLE OTHER LANGUAGE from it too. LOL!
That Is Very Cute!! and kids do love it. Daniel Has Been Hauling Kidney Beans To Menomonie, Wi and Potatoes To Big Lake With The Semi and Hailey Gets To Go With and She Just Loves It Sitting In The Big Passenger Seat With Her Daddy By Her Side. For Being Only 2 She's Been Alot More Places Than I Went As A Kid.

I saw a semi the other day with a kid in his safety seat. It looked so strange to see him sitting up there so high. I suppose it's one of the safer vehicles he could be in though. Great memories for him.
