We had a scrapping challenge this week of creating a layout with a vintage recipe. I was stumped on what to pick until I remembered these cookies. I remember my Great Aunt Doris making them when I was little; and Grandma K. and Mom's cookies on a plate have more recent memories for me. I just wanted to share it here. Do you guys have a recipe that you would love to have your family remember you with one day? What would you consider to be your signature dish? You know, that one thing people can count on you to bring if you're attending a potlock type of event? I need to ponder mine a little more but I'm thinking it might be bread pudding. I make it every fall around Thanksgiving. I hesitate because I'm not sure if my family loves it as much as I do :) I guess when it comes down to it, they're the ones who ultimately make these decisions. But for today - what do YOU pick?

This is so cool, Jolene! I really like the page.
I have no idea what recipe I would pass down...I need to think about it.
Jo, I love it! Grandma was such a sweet person and I was blessed to be able to share her birthday as well as her name. I remember her cookie jar on the counter in the kitchen, always full and beckoning us to come and have one! I think Mama will love this page too.
love, mom
