It is my delight to share with you that our family is growing again. We will be welcoming one who will turn our lives upside down and our days into delightful moments of curiosity and wonder.
Today is a milestone - week 12, the last of the first trimester and I'm looking forward to days of feeling better. During those moments of feeling so yucky, I can think back to Friday's doctor appointment and remember that heartbeat - so strong and fast. What an amazing sound it is. One could never tire of hearing it. I have had several really great-feeling days too. Hooray for those! It all feels like you're walking through your daily life with a knowing smile, carrying a big secret that no one can see yet; and there's this thread of joy woven into all that you do - joy that comes from harboring something so tiny and perfect.
And that, friends, is the news I wanted to share with you today. Please pray for us as we go forward. This will be a big change for our family but we are excited and grateful.

How exciting! Congratulations to you all; what a fantastic journey this will be for the whole family. That little baby is going to be so loved on!
