Why? "I was hungry."
I pressed him for more details and finally he spilled:
I stole it out of the fridge and took a bite; it was good! So I snuck it under my pillow. Then I picked out a book. Daddy tucked me in but couldn't smell it because it was under the pillow. (Don't tell daddy!)
Well, umm, then daddy left and I got [Tyger's] headlamp and I was reading and then I wanted to wait until everyone was downstairs. Then I ate it. Then I kept reading. Then I got tired and put Tyler's headlamp back and then I went to bed.

HAHAHA! but the real question: how did you KNOW there was a hotdog in his room???
I love his thinking!! It must have been worth the trouble to hide it under his pillow. I too am wondering how you knew he had a hotdog in his room?
You want me to reveal my source????? I don't know if that's a good idea.
Maybe I can just say a little roommate oops, i mean bird, told me :)
It's a good thing kids don't care about lint or fuzz getting on their food at this age. There's no way I'd be eating a hotdog that was stored under my pillow. Let alone could I bare the smell all throughout the night. He's a brave one, that cowboy...so is the "BIRD"
Last night when I tucked him in, he asked me if I could still smell it. So, apparently he's under the impression that I sniffed out his... crime. :) LOL
