space and time continuum

as if I really know what that means! But, I just wanted to offer my apologies to those of you who have been checking my blog for an update. It's late Wednesday afternoon and I haven't even touched my blog this week! Very bad of me. I'm sorry. I haven't been able to sneak in the time at work. FarmBoy's been busy getting the rest of the field work done so I've been running around on the sales floor and once I'm home my brain is too numb to come up with a single story to share.

Well enough of that.

Today LittleBoyBlue and PrincessGirl had their preschool screening. I wasn't able to watch both of them (that stinks!) but watching LBB was pretty darn cute. It's fun to see those little wheels turn as he would try to figure out the answers. Afterwards, we celebrated by going out to lunch at Wendy's - and going inside to eat. This is huge. This doesn't happen. I don't normally trust my sweet darlings to be perfect model children. In other words, I'm terrified of them embarrassing me! BUT, I promised. So, we did. I was in for my own special treat. They were so cute and good. I don't know if their little brains were just tired from the thinking and the playing they had done, but they were subdued and quiet. They ate nicely. Nothing was spilled. There was no complaining. It was fantastic and I was so proud of them. I think I may have to try this more often. Maybe one day I'll even be able to convince FarmBoy that a family outing wouldn't be nearly as crazy as we fear.
