a real-life veggie tale

On our way to bring Tyger to his Kung Fu lesson, me and the kiddos picked up SuperMom (aka Granny) to do a little shopping while we were out. She gets the Super in her name for thinking of things like bringing celery and carrots for the kids to munch on. I would never think of something like that, nor take the time to do it. Well, maybe one day - but for now, it's beyond me!

She got in the van and when Cowboy and PrincessGirl saw what she had, they immediately started getting excited. But the best moment was when Cowboy admonished Granny for bringing celery (which he loves) and in no uncertain terms told her how he wished she would have brought him broccoli instead.

Can't win 'em all, I guess (and find me another 4-year-old who's that crazy about veggies!! I just don't see it).

Haha--too funny!
By the time you have grandkids, you'll be all about the celery and carrots in the car. :)
