Jolene,
Which program to you use to create your cards and digital projects? I've heard Photoshop Elements is pretty good, any opinion?

Hey Katie!
I created this card in Photoshop. Before that, I used a completely different program - Ulead Photoimpact Pro. I really liked that one. It was less expensive that Elements and fairly easy to figure out. What I didn't like about it was that it seemed so few people used it, it was hard to find resources for learning how to use all of the features. I've used Elements a handful of times but coming from PhotoImpact, I found it frustrating because I didn't know where to look for similar features. So.... I'm going to ask my dear friend Lyss to leave a comment here on how she likes Elements. It will give you a much better feel than I can. (For what it's worth though - a LOT of people use it for exactly that reason and there are tons of things you can do with it.)

Ok, here's my big scene! ha! Katie, this is Lyss :)
I use Photoshop Elements and it's pretty much the only photo editing software I've used (besides recently tooling around with Lightroom). I LOVE Elements! I don't know EVERYTHING about it yet, but I learn something new every time I work with it. I can also very easily find tutorials on the internet on what I'd like to do if I can't figure it out.
I find it very user-friendly and even made some Christmas cards using it this year.
So I would strongly recommend Elements. Some day I hope to have one of the Photoshop Creative Suite programs and I know Elements is a great "stepping-stone" for an easy transition into CS 3 or 4, etc. (you know, the BIG editing programs - ha!)

If you have any more questions - ask away!
