buzz off!

Since getting back home on Monday we've found a few infestations of fruit flies. One because of a banana that the kids HID down in the basement (ewwwww!) and another in the kitchen from who knows what (I can't figure it out for the life of me). These dang flies are driving me insane!!!! You can't walk into the kitchen without ducking and dodging. The way they all hang out together seems to make them a force to be reckoned with. I'm reckoning though. I have my little jar of cider vinegar and dishsoap for them to drown in. I've killed a dozen. Ugh. How in the world d you get rid of these things???????

Mike had that problem once and you're right it is awful. He did the apple cider vinegar and then put some saran wrap over the top of it with hole so they would go in and then not be able to get out. It seemed to work. Good luck!

Ew. I hate those little things. Maybe they're like minnows... staying together (in a school) so they look like a larger being.

Hey Jo, if you mix 2 parts molasses with 1 part cider vinegar, it's supposed to work for getting those little buggers. Good luck!
