happy nights

Date nights ROCK! The day was nothing less than chaotic but I think it made me appreciate the night out even more. It was wonderful. FarmBoy picked up our darling babysitter - I walked her through a few things and then we were off. He took me to National Camera Exchange so I could find a part I needed (for those of you keeping track, my Skyports came in! Yay!). After I got my part, he even patiently waited for me to walk around and drool :)

After that we headed over to Red Lobster. I haven't been there in years - I would guess almost 5. The place looked pretty busy when we got there at 6:45 and we thought we might be waiting for quite awhile. They gave us our flashy table-ready-notifier (do these have real names?) and we went to go find a seat to wait in. As we sat down, hubby noticed a half dozen empty seats at the bar and for the second time in my life, we went and sat there. Our drinks were about half gone when our thingy flashed that it was dinner time! Hooray.

An hour and a full tummy later we left. On our way home we picked up a few movies to watch - one last night - one over the weekend some time. Got home to see that DB (darling babysitter) had done a great job with the kids - all were peacefully sleeping in bed. It was such a great night and I was so grateful to my hubby for taking me out so sweetly. I had a smile stuck on my face as I drifted off to sleep. Yay for happy nights!

This sounds absolutely wonderful! I'm so glad you two were able to have a night off and enjoy each other's company without socks flying through the air, cleaning messy faces or cutting gum out of hair. ha! j/k

Glad you two had a great time Bean... May there be MANY MORE!
