Let the little children come to me

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

My sweet LG was baptized last month. It was such a special day - surrounded with people who love him and will encourage him on his spiritual walk - every step of the way!

We dressed him up in the baptismal outfit that both Cowboy and cousin Quinn wore for their baptisms. I have to say, he rocked the look - so dapper and handsome.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm very excited about the role models LG has in his life. FarmBoy and I thought long and hard about who we wanted to be godparents for our littlest boy. We chose my brother and sister(in-law) along with Tyger and FarmBoy's sister. With so much age-distance between Tyger and LG, I wanted to create one more bond to help bridge that gap. I know he will make an excellent godfather and I can't wait to see how their relationship develops as they both grow older. Our family has been so blessed by this little boy - smiles are more abundant around here than ever as we gaze at him and giggle at his little antics. I will cherish what today brings and anticipate, happily, what tomorrow will bring, as well.
