a new normal

Since it's been pretty much forever since I've blogged I thought I would do a little catching up, about how our little LG's birth has changed some of the pieces of our day. What better way to demonstrate than in pictures?

For the most part our former-baby-of the family has adapted really well to being a big sister. Sometimes it's still a little hard to not be the littlest, though. She thought it looked so comfy to see LG all snuggled up in momma's moby wrap so she wanted to see what it was like. Yay for a FarmBoy Daddy who can accommodate such a request. We all got a good chuckle out of trying to get her in there and she loved the end-result of snuggles. From what I hear, it's a pretty cozy place to be :)

Sometimes, for school, we get to watch cool documentaries. I don't remember anymore what this one was about but I gave them my Kindle to use and found them all together up on Lollipop's bed watching it. It sure was nice to have a little peace and quiet for a bit and they loved the novelty of watching something on the little screen :)

No worries though - we still have plenty of traditional schooling to do, too. It's been an adjustment to work around a baby's schedule but we're managing pretty well. I'm grateful that the curriculum we use has a four-day school week. We can use our extra day (and the weekends when necessary) for catching up and making sure everything that should get done gets done.  I sure love these cooperative moments when they're not running off and trying to escape a complicated math page :)

and sometimes we even sing while we work :)

Mostly, though, we maintain the same level of crazy we always did. We like it that way!
