My heart is full. What a great feeling! This was a good weekend for refilling my soul with friendship. It all started Friday. My long-distance BFF (ha! that acronym cracks me up) was in town. She lives east of Eau Claire and I really only see her a few times a year. But she was here! In Eagan! With her family! So DragonRider and I went to their hotel to visit. It was so fun to see them all again - and catch up on life. I never leave their company without feeling good about the world.
Yesterday I had a wedding shower for my not-as-long-distance-but-still-pretty-far BFF (ha ha!) who I also only get to see a few times a year. She's another one of those people who when you see her and talk to her you just feel so darn good! My heart just swells - I'm so proud of her and love her so much. She's the sweetest girl and to see her so happy about her upcoming wedding - ugh! It's just wonderful!!!!!
Then last night, FarmBoy and I went to Mike & Jill's (brother and SIL) house for fun, festivities, and food. Angie and Dave were there and another awesome couple friend. We had so much fun playing cards and games - talking - drinking - eating. I laughed and smiled all night long. Great for the endorphins, isn't it?
And now, just minutes ago I was IMing both of my BFFs (ha ha!!!!) at the same time - which I don't think has ever happened. But again, I just SMILE when I talk to them - so it was like a double-smile since it was both of them...
I know this is long winded but I just feel so... BLESSED!!
