I love this time of year. The crispness in the air. The leaves on the ground. The crunching under my shoes. The anticipation of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. All of it makes me smile. One of my biggest highlights of the weekend was making an impromptu scarecrow with my girls. I don't think I've ever made one - not since I've had kids of my own anyway. I will definitely consider doing this again in the future. I think it helped that we made it "pint-sized." Not nearly as much work! Ha ha!

she was holding all the bags we used for stuffing the scarecrow! she had like 4 of them stuffed in there :)
haha! so that's how 1 year olds can be useful. :) jk. love her.
yes, and she also excitedly pointed out the leaves to me so that i could stuff the legs and arms - it was very, very cute!
