Since the moment I woke up this morning, my mind has been swimming with all that I want to accomplish today. The list feels endless and the time feels short. I've been sorting it all out in my mind trying to decide which task to accomplish first - to get the best bang for my time-buck. Then, I happened to glance out my window to the site of this bird. It was sitting so peacefully in the branch. Taking a little rest before it continues with whatever it needed to do today. It was the perfect image at the perfect time. I feel much more at peace with what I need to do and I know I will finish what needs to be done. What is left undone, well, it will be okay.
Matthew 6:26 "Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them."

WONDERFUL photo opportunity!!!!! It's perfect! A cute little plump bird - I'm sure it had NO CLUE that it would provide you with such motivation! God's very clever isn't He? :)
awesome! i love this post.
I'm so impressed with your photography. I think this may be a hobby waiting to happen for me with inspiration (and eventually help) from you and Shelly.
Thank you so much for sharing. God has used birds several times in my life to speak to me.
I was blessed by your post--thanks, friend.
Great pic!!
