My darling cousin (I shall have to come up with a nickname for her), the very same one who gave me the cute heart-shaped cookie cutters, called me yesterday and twisted my arm to try making homemade cutout cookies. We made and baked and tasted our cookies together - over a long-distance phone call. It was wonderful. Her blessing me in turned blessed our whole family. The kids were so excited about cookies and helping to decorate. FarmBoy was happily surprised - he wishes I would do the domesticated wife thing a little more often :) Here's a picture of our final result - minus a few taste-test victims!
