I read a very helpful tip about doing portraits - give your subject something to hold. Hallelujah. It was just what this little girl needed to help focus AND have more fun. She didn't want to let go of the flower and when she found out she couldn't hold it unless Mommy was taking her picture, she was a lot more cooperative :) I love how these turned out. They're some of my favorites to date, for sure! And extra special just because she's been so hard to shoot. Yay!!

Jolene, you are right that is my favorite portrait yet. I made them bigger on my screen & they are perfect & she is adorable. I know I can learn something from you. Geri
these are beautiful!!! what a sweet little girl. :) and nice work! i can't believe how much your photography skills have improved in such a short time! not that they were ever bad, but they're just getting SO GOOD!
The advice about having your subject hold something is FANTASTIC! Maybe that's why I like pictures more of outside things. HA! more color and angles :) Great Job Bean! I'm still waiting for my close-up.........
Thanks you guys - I'm so excited about how this one turned out. And yes, Lyss - I hear you. I'm looking forward to summer or a not muddy spring day and trying out some more outside stuff. I panic bringing my camera outside cause I don't want it to get cold! LOL!
