look twice
When you ask your young daughter to throw laundry into the washer - look twice before starting it. There's a DARN good chance that she just grabbed the clean laundry you took out of the dryer the night before. There's also a darn good chance that you won't notice until bedtime - you know, after you've been thinking you actually accomplished something that day.

ah crap. i bet that was a little frustrating. but what a sweet little helper she was trying to be!
Sometimes clothes can NEVER be TOO clean - - maybe this allows them to be worn more than once until the next wash? No? too good to be true? hee hee!
Oh my gosh, I would cry.
