I want leg warmers.
I saw a JoAnn etc. ad yesterday with a lady wearing jeans and multi-colored leg warmers.
I want to be her.
Well, LIKE her.
Especially since I'm freezing at work today.
Is this a project a major novice could do?
Would I still have time for my obesessive photography hobby?
Or maybe the real question is - where can I buy some???

I'm pretty sure you can buy leg warmers anywhere. they're "IN" right now. I know Maurices has them and I KNOW Kohl's must carry them! Check'em out!
I could crochet some for you, but they'd be weird. I only do square things.
when i was on a pantyhose buying mission on friday, i saw legwarmers at one of the following stores:
-jcpenny
-kohls
-target
sorry i can't remember for sure which it was!
if you are comfortable knitting with double pointed needles, leg warmers are pretty easy. What colors would you want. I may be able to whip up a pair or two in my copious free time (heehee). I love to knit and could use a thoughtless project. Also, do you have a preference on that they are made of? I would be happy to make some out of acrylic or cotton or something non-wool.
Drie - double pointed needles? I've done a *little* bit of crotchet work in the past (when I was pregnant with my twins) but that is the extent of my needle-wielding skills. If you are serious - I think that would be so fun and awesome! I was thinking something reddish or a pretty chocolatey brown would be nice? Oh let's be honest - I'm not that picky! I have no preference as far as yarn goes either. (and man - how much cooler would this be than just going and buying some from Penney's!!)
I can make them for you!!!
Me, me!!
gaul, you guys are over-achievers!
