cold morning.
put on a winter coat even this morning.
it smells funny.
but i don't want to take it off.
the office is almost as cold as the rest of the state.
anyhow - like i said, good weekend.
lots of movies for a change.
august rush.
heard of it?
loved it. loved it enough to restart it once it was over.
also saw baby mama.
it was okay. a fun little flick but nothing too exciting.
the movie highlight-
going with Ang and Jill to see The Secret Life of Bees.
loved the company
loved the movie
loved the book
after that we stopped at a new little french cafe in - get this - Eagan.
i felt like i had location-warped to minneapolis.
the place was so cute.
can't wait to go back.
saturday night on my way to bed,
helped a little girl in the bathroom.
she was toasty-hot.
then she got sick.
hung out with her instead of going to sleep.
sick or not, we enjoyed each other's company.
farmboy rocks.
at 4 a.m. i got him up for a "shift-change."
he let me sleep until 10 a.m.
woke up as groggy as can be
yet happy to have slept for so long.
hung out with my babes.
kept the sick one happy.
at least she wasn't needing the bucket now.
it was a good day.
today, woke up extra early to get a head start at work.
got here 15 minutes earlier than usual.
time to blog on a monday morning.
weird style - but lots to mention in a short time.
thought a bunch of fragments might even be
a little fun.
happy monday to you all!
**edit:
no wonder my coat smells funny. in its pockets i found receipts dated december of 2002 and december of 2003. i guess it's been awhile since it's really seen the light of day. if only i could remember which coat i used last winter if it wasn't this one...
**edit edit:
i wonder if caribou coffee would take bou bucks that expired at the end of 2002 just for nostalgic reasons.

If you went back to Caribou, they might give you the "good customer" discount for even TRYING to use them, and then they'd laugh and learn you'd probably never be back for another 6 years...
But maybe if you promise to wear the jacket again next year, things will be different? LOL!
Glad you had such a great weekend! And hope the little girl is feeling better all the time.
Love to know The Secret Life of Bees was a good one. I read the book not long ago and can hardly wait to see the flick!
hahaha nice post, sister! i like the style, but hope you stick to your normal one most of the time. :)
also, who of the poor little lambs was sick? poor things. (you too.)
Clever Blog. Loved all the news!! Judy
Nice style! I myself have considered doing something of the sort when there seems to be too much info, but not enough desire to type. Or Angie's method of 'lists' always works well for me.
P.S. bon appetit en espanol = buen provecho!
