3-foot alarm clocks

This morning PrincessGirl and LittleBoyBlue both came up to my room way too ready for the day. I was still dreaming peacefully. I wasn't ready for this. To help me get ready faster, they turned into human alarm clocks... They started singing made-up songs; and asking if it was beautiful as soon as the song was done. They took their stuffed animals and pounced them on me over, and over. I'm feeling particularly unfriendly towards an over-stuffed fluffy pink kitty now. They started tossing and turning all over the bed making it shake a hundred different ways and I quickly became a Momillow - you know, a mom-pillow. Somehow I came through this unscathed - no bruises or scratches to show for their ambitious work. I even smiled. I wish I had that wonderfully happy energy to greet each day as the gift it is. This is one of my true loves about being a mommy. Good morning, World!!!

I agree with Angie. Sometimes my alarm clock is Jeff's arm twiching into my head or my cat howling because she wants to eat. Keep in mind she's UNDER the bed at this point.... - lyss
