Lately I've had weird words randomly floating through my head. Two that quickly come to mind are:
austere
modicum (which I've been spelling and pronouncing incorrectly for a very long time, dangit!)
Can any of you word-smithies use these in a sentence together?

the austere woman used modicum sugar on her christmas cookies, since she had no christmas spirit.
