can't see the forest for the trees
Last night at dinner, PrincessGirl was telling a story and proceeded to dribble a bunch of milky food down her chin. It looked rather nasty and I asked her to please use her hand (a napkin wasn't at the table) and wipe it off. She looked at her arm and sleeve and what shirt she was wearing and stated, "No, it's too pretty!"
