humbled again

FarmBoy and I had just finished tucking the kids in and were looking forward to a little peace and quiet - which never really happens after just tucking them in. Within minutes LittleBoyBlue was practically screaming "Mom! Moooom!!!!!" I shouted back to him a few times to just be quiet and go to bed. Finally FarmBoy tells me to get off my lazy bum and go see what he needs. I begrudgingly went upstairs and calmly, but slightly frustrated, asked him what he needed. "I need my hug and kiss goodnight." In the rush to my peace and quiet I missed the best part - thank God he's fast forgiver. And maybe I'll think twice next time before shouting at him to just go to sleep.
